Bull Close-up, at Wardlow
A close-up photo of a bull at Wardlow, in Derbyshire, England. Having walked through the upper end of Cressbrook Dale, I was walking along a footpath towards Wardlow, when I came across this Bull. He was lying down in a very narrow strip field and the dry stone wall between the field and the footpath was broken down in several places, so he could have leapt across to me at any moment. Fortunately he remained calm, but he was watching me intently for the 15 minutes I was there taking photos.

Yellow Bellied Slider Turtle
A Yellow Bellied Slider Turtle, (Trachemys scripta scripta) photographed at the Seaview Wildlife Encounter, Seaview, Isle of Wight, England. In the wild, they are found in the Southeast of United States, from Southeast Virginia to northern Florida and Texas and also in Central America. Sliders get their name from their habit of sliding into the water from a rock or pond edge. They are semi-aquatic freshwater turtles and live in ponds, streams, rivers, lakes and swamps.
