Crich Memorial Tower

The Crich Memorial Tower, also known as Crich Stand is a lighthouse tower which was built in 1923 as a memorial to the men of the Sherwood Foresters, who died in service during the First World War. It was later dedicated to the memory of men of the regiment who died during the Second World War and also in later conflicts. The tower is located at Crich in Derbyshire, England and stands at the summit of Crich Hill. Its beacon is one thousand feet above sea level.
