Yellow Iris, (Iris pseudacorus)

A close-up photo of a Yellow Iris, (Iris pseudacorus). A common, strong perennial wild flower which grows in pond margins, marshes and on river banks. It has a flower of bright yellow on a tall stem, with grey-green sword-shaped leaves.This one was pictured on the bank of the lake at Barton Marina, Barton under Needwood in Staffordshire, England.
