Globe Thistle (Echinops bannaticus)

Echinops bannaticus is an upright perennial with globose, pale to mid-blue flower heads on tall stems with deeply cut leaves. The seed heads are often used in dried flower arrangements. The location was Drakelow in Derbyshire, England.
