Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo)

The Common buzzard, previously known as the Eurasian buzzard, eats mainly small mammals, such as pheasant, rabbit and other small mammals, also snakes and lizards and even worms and insects. It prefers to hunt over open land and it breeds in woodlands.
