Stone Bridge Over East Row Beck, Sansend by Rod Johnson

Stone Bridge Over East Row Beck, Sansend

A view of the stone bridge which spans the East Row Beck in the seaside village of Sansend, North Yorkshire, England. This narrow road bridge, with a sharp bend at each end, carries the busy A174 road traffic between Lythe and Whitby. An earlier bridge over the beck was demolished by serious flooding in 1910.
