Silverweed

A close-up view of a silverweed leaf stem. Silverweed is a low growing herbaceous plant with leaves that are 10-20 cm long. The stems and leaflets are covered in silky white hairs which gives the leaves a silvery appearance. Small yellow flowers are produced between May and August. This specimen was captured in Calke Park, Derbyshire, England.
