The photos in this gallery were taken on the Isle of Wight.

At 22 miles wide and 13 miles from north to south, the Isle of Wight is England's largest island. The island, which is also a county of England is located off the Hampshire south coast, in the English Channel. The waterway which separates it from the mainland is called The Solent, and the county town of the Isle of Wight is Newport, which is located towards the centre of the island.

The island was home to Queen Victoria and the poet Tennyson. King Charles I, was a guest at Carisbrooke Castle, before being imprisoned there in 1647-8, prior to his execution. A number of annual music festivals have been held there, including the Isle of Wight Festival.

There are many resorts and places of interest around the island, which make it one of the most popular islands in the United Kingdom. It regularly attracts visitors from many overseas destinations.

Photos are available in various sizes and finishes, including photo, canvas, acrylic, metal and poster prints and greeting cards. More details are shown below.
